Data Deletion Request

At PlayAware, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains who can request data deletion, how to submit a request, and what data can or cannot be deleted.

Who Can Request Data Deletion

Users who have signed in to PlayAware using Google Sign-In or Facebook Sign-In can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

PlayAware also allows limited anonymous usage without account registration. Anonymous usage is not linked to a verified identity and therefore cannot be individually identified or deleted upon request.

How to Request Data Deletion (Step-by-Step)

1. Send an email to support@playaware.in
2. The request must be sent from the same email address used to sign in via Google or Facebook
3. Requests related to anonymous usage cannot be processed individually

What Data Will Be Deleted

• Authentication and account records
• User profile information (username, avatar, identifiers)
• App interaction data including likes, comments, and engagement activity
• Usage and activity records
• Push notification tokens
• User-specific preferences and settings

Anonymous Usage Data

• Anonymous users do not provide personal identifiers
• Anonymous usage data is not linked to a verified identity
• Anonymous data cannot be individually deleted upon request
• Anonymous data is automatically discarded when the app is uninstalled or reset

What Data May Be Retained

Some non-identifiable, aggregated analytics data may be retained for legal compliance, security, and performance analysis. This data cannot be used to identify any individual user.

Deletion Timeline

Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable timeframe. Most verified requests are completed within a few working days. Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.

Children’s Data and Age Restrictions

PlayAware is not intended for use by children below the minimum age required by applicable laws in their jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children who are below the legally required age to use online services. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child in violation of applicable age requirements, we will take appropriate steps to delete such information as soon as possible.
